"When a certain superpower president pulls out of a global agreement aimed at combating climate change, we figure the smart money goes on backing a recent Parsons graduate who aspires to promote 'quality of life and a healthy environment'.  However, it was when Paige Russell's social conscience met with her playful design doctrine, that we really got excited. And committed as we are to improving the lives of our readers, Russell's 'Lumenair' graduation project (pictured) is an air purifying plant lamp and the first example of her putting this ideology into action. And what of the future? For now, is set to build on commercial interest generated by her ceramic projects, with a view to setting up an industrial studio with three fellow Parsons graduates.  Unless we persuade her to run for president first."  CHARLES MELLERSH
